About Jenny

Hi and welcome to my blog! My name is Jenny and I am a recent college grad who has moved back home while I figure out what's next in my life. In the meantime, I work, take naps, online window shop, and run.

I have always loved being active, but didn't start seriously running until college. It started out as a de-stressor after all those crazy hours of being cooped up inside a dorm studying and then I just couldn't stop running. Nowadays, I run a big race here and there, train regularly, and do Pop Pilates, tabata workouts, and hike.

I started this blog so I can talk about running and all things related to it without boring all of my friends. I know you guys get sick of it, it's okay, I understand. It's also nice to keep track of my training and such.

While at USC, I majored in Kinesiology and worked as an Athletic Trainer. Sometimes during my long runs I think about oxygen consumption and activating metabolic pathways and all that fun stuff. Yes, I really do that. Thank you, running. You've taught me so much. As an assistant AT I was also exposed to so many interesting things regarding injury prevention and rehabilitation. If anyone needs an ankle taped, holla.

Like any 20-something girl, I love clothes. Especially if it contains spandex. And running shoes. It's such a shame that my current job doesn't allow me to wear yoga pants.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I love pouring thoughts here.

Fight on, bloggers!
